Here at Velve, we didn't just pick up some materials and start sewing to catch up with the new internet trends to make money. This has been our passion for over 20 years. We prefer to work with keshde- a traditional Turkmen handmade silk fabric 35-40 cm wide. Keshde is a unique fabric, material for the artist's imagination, as well as a
whole philosophy that includes not only the concepts
of style, fashion, time, but also the attitude of people to work,
to traditions, to an ever-renewing source of inspiration. This is
something that is always, at all times, with any innovations and
trends, unshakable and in demand. Keshde is an extraordinary
combination of silk coolness, satin play, warmth and freshness
of flax, richness and strength of taffeta, tenderness of hands
and a piece of the soul of the master who created this miracle. The creative search of the collection led to another unexpected find. Some of the outerwear models are made of fabric created using the carpet weaving technique. The combination of national traditional techniques in a modern interpretation led to the effect of velvet softness of fabrics, and a mix of traditional national forms in combination with modern cut - to the amazing softness of the models' silhouettes.
